Love Love Love

As I stand here today I wonder where the time has gone. I remember you as the baby that I fell in love with upon first seeing. And watching you grow has been a blessing. I am so glad that you have found someone who you can spend the rest of your life with.

There have been many times and countless instances over the years where I thought that I could not be any prouder. Today happens to be one of those moments. As I look at you (Sean) and the person you love (Rose), who you have made this commitment to, my heart is filled with joy and I am at peace knowing how happy you both are. It has been so achingly heartwarming to see the warmth, love and compassion you have for one another. I know that together, you will continue to do great things, this time as husband and wife.

Time to face REALITY

Back to reality on Sunday. Have enjoyed North Carolina or more specifically the Chapel Hill/Pittsboro area. Play my game of “I could live here”. I think it has more to do with dealing with everything that goes into living in your own home. Joes house is very tasteful and comfortable. Anyway, I think I could picture myself here. Certainly the Arts and Culture has an appeal to me.

Trip to downtown Chicago

The country bumpkin in me is just excited to see downtown Chicago. So many buildings and stores. Lot of wows, and that’s cool. Plus Lake Michigan. On top of this was seeing Sean and Rose get their Marriage License.

Strikes a note.

Street Walking

Walking the streets of Chicago or more specifically Rosco Village has been strangely satisfying. Love the buildings and houses. Can imagine myself here, but also reminded that 6 months of winter SUCKS.

Another World

Sitting in the living room at Sean and Roses house in Chicago. Strangely familiar. Sugar is busy doing her thing. Busy Busy Busy.

Tangent

Off on a artist tangent. I've drawn years and years of drawings in my sketch books of people and characters I see at the beach and else ware. Decided to flesh them out in paintings. The Series is tentatively title, "My Private Beach".
