Warm for October

The warm weather returned. Sunny skies 70+ degrees and even reaching 80 on Monday. Strange days indeed. 

The Chill

The chill has started. Inside temperature at 69. Wearing a jacket and cap. Broke down and turned on heat.

Brother to sister. “Molly, I’ll save you from drowning. 7 year old to 5 year old. The life guard is not on deck yet

Getting out

Went to Pool just to get out and about. I was still testing positive yesterday, a little disappointing.

It’s Sunday and I’m still testing positive. That kinda sucks.

COVID Again

I actually feel sadder than I do sick at this moment, I’m here in San Diego and have covid. Arrived on Sunday, went to La Jolla beach Monday, zoo on Tuesday and sick on Wednesday. I find myself weeping. I miss being with my family. I’ll never get to see Downtown San Diego, Coronado beach and L and L . I spoke to soon I ache and have chills. Can barely think.



New Year 2024 same old me

I tell myself I am searching for something. But more and more, it feels like I am wandering, waiting for something to happen to me, something that will change everything, something that my whole life has been leading up to. In my heart, I know that this is not true. Life is not leading up to anything, nor are we headed anywhere in particular.
