Mermaid

From this fair home

  there still is a view

of calm green mountains

  and the restless sea

where time has slowed

  the changing tide

and child-time  home-things

  live and grow.

.....this home 

  this refuge in Honolulu

    this fragile Eden for a child of OAHU.
