Sass on Wheels

So, last weekend we went to see my nice (it's your niece, stupid!) at the Masonic Temple in her Detroit Derby Girl debut.  I really had a good time, for what it's worth.  I've been thinking about why I liked it so much.  When you see these young people you realize that this is what could make the City of Detroit a vibrant place to be.  The Masonic Temple has a rich history and these kids are making things happen downtown.

Roller Derby is such simple clean fun.  You just gotta love the names.  Count me in as a fan.  I remember going to the Civic Auditorium in Hawaii for Roller Derby, Wrestling and Concerts.  It seemed all so simple back then.  These twenty and thirty somethings are the ones that are going to change things.

Anyway, I had fun!

Snow day

Snow is sprinkling down and the piano fingers sprinkle the key boards in the background. Moody Friday.
